Trauma comes in many forms. Sometimes, it may not be recognized as such. This is a normal coping mechanism for many people. Yet whether acknowledged or not, traumatic events have a profound and lasting effect on not only our own lives, but those around us, especially spouses and loved ones alike. 

Whether physical or emotional in nature, the presence of trauma can be indicated by lack of focus, irritability, anger, depression, insomnia, anxiety and other stress responses. 

It is important to recognize that many of these feelings are quite normal, but can cause serious harm when sustained over time and without treatment. Hypnotherapy is a way to quickly process and release emotional traumas, while developing new ways to cope with future stressors.
